Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for decorating and small items I’ve been using these for years I have them in my hallway for my dustpan and brushes and kitty litter colander for easy access and ready anytime I need them so convenient. Never had to change them still original ones I first put up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do NOT use for something that can't be replaced I had my hallways remodeled and painted and thought I would avoid holes in the wall so got some command hooks-all kinds. I followed all directions to the letter and used weight appropriate hooks. So far I have had MULTIPLE pictures fall off the wall with hooks-at first I was mildly mad as nothing broke but I DID have to buy paint to touch up the gouges the pics made when falling. Yesterday 12/31/19 I had a very special pottery gift fall and break into hundred of pieces. It didn't weigh even 1/2 # but I used 2 of these hooks-originally hung 1 year ago-As this was a gift from someone I'm VERY upset and do NOT recommend the wire command hooks. The velcro ones work well, THESE DO NOT!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work I used these to hang a few small light photos. I followed directions, but was a loud crash woke me up. Three days after hanging, all of the photos came crashing down. There I was in my PJs cleaning up broken glass and frames. What a nightmare. I find that command products DO NOT WORK in tropical humid areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make Your Life Easy - Hang It Where You Use It I just replenished my supply of the 6 or 7 different types of Command hooks and cord-keepers I always keep on-hand in my workshop, including a 9-pack of these handy, small Wire Hooks. I uses them all over the house to hang my most-frequently used small tools exactly where they are used the most. In the kitchen, I constantly use small scissors, wire snippers for cutting cable ties, and two kinds of slim, needle-nose pliers, which help me remove those tenacious foil seals from new plastic bottles of coffee creamer. (I don't have the finger strength and dexterity to do it by hand.) I first mounted these tools on the refrigerator using a smaller, lighter-duty Command plastic hook, but my wife wasn't too happy with the appearance. (The tools, not the hooks!) Looking around the kitchen, I found a better spot: the side of our counter-top microwave, closest to the wall. Here, the tools would be mostly hidden from view but still readily available when needed. This is where the Command strips really pay dividends because I had to remove the plastic hooks from the fridge, which I did exactly according to the package instructions; and those little foam adhesive strips stretch out quite long, growing thinner as you pull them downward, until they finally pull right out from under the hook, and off it comes; no mess or sticky glue-residue left behind. Marvelous! Don't draw the conclusion this means the adhesive doesn't hold well; on the contrary, you better be sure of where you stick these hooks because once those glue strips are pressed down for 30 seconds, they achieve great adhesion to the mounting surface that is almost permanent. Trying to pull the hooks straight off doesn't work; you have to pull down on the hanging tab of foam, just as described above. I decided to use these Small Wire Hooks because the U-shape of the wire provides a generous amount of length and curvature; perfect for hanging things that straddle the hook on either side, like the cutter and pliers in the pictures I've posted. I love the Command products; they are easy to mount, easy to remove; and can be remounted simply by using another adhesive strip. I probably have 50 of these things all over the house and small tools are right where I need them. Try them out - they are priced right - a good value; and you can position your favorite devices perfectly; where they will make menial tasks easier to accomplish. David Rodgers, Seattle, WA

    Command™ Weight Reference Guide

Not sure which Command™ Product is right for you? We weighed some common household objects to give you a better understanding of the amount of weight you’re hanging on your walls. Explore our Command™ Weight Reference Guide to find the best Command™ Product for your project.

    • 1 lb. Hold

Even the lightest items need the right support. Next time you brew a pot of joe in the morning, remember that a 16 oz bag of coffee beans is the equivalent to one pound.

    • 3 lb. Hold

Comparing apples to oranges might not be a fair matchup, but comparing a bag of apples to your next project—that’s a different story. Did you know that a standard bag of apples is equal to three pounds? How do you like them apples?

    • 5 lb. Hold

You want a damage-free hanging solution that’s up for the task—not one that will drop your object like a hot potato. For items with a bit more weight, remember that five pounds feels just like a standard bag of potatoes. Unsure whether you have a standard size bag? Just check the front of the bag for the 5 lb weight.

    • 8 lb. Hold

Looking for a solution to hang your heavier objects? No there’s no use crying over spilt milk. Just reach for the gallon of milk in your fridge—it weighs about eight pounds.
