Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clear clips with white backing I had the same issue as a previous reviewer. I bought the clear clips to hang lights on my "black" screened in lanai but useless with white backing

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great in the GA climate I love Command products. I used these on my balcony in GA, but it is too humid to stay up. My patio was pretty for a while then one by one my lights fell down. I used light weight plastic bulbs from 5 Below so it was not to heavy. I use these in my classroom and they stay up better, but sometimes the clips fall down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Angry and disgusted. I spent hours this morning cleaning the smooth metal ceiling of my new front porch with alcohol as instructed, then carefully applied the Command hooks as instructed, holding each one in place for the required 30 seconds. Several (3) popped off in less than 2 minutes, but I dutifully re-cleaned the ceiling, changed the sticky strip and reapplied the hook. I applied the hooks every 12 inches, which I double the recommended amount. I left them to set-up for three hours while I went out and bought my lights. I came home very anxious to hang my lights only to have the 1st hook fall off in my hand. The 4th hook also fell off as did the 6th, 8th and 10th. So now I am out $7.88 cents for each of the 3 boxes of Command useless hooks and $9.97 for each of 3 strings of lights, not to mention fully 3/4 of my precious time and energy on a beautiful July Saturday. You can mark me down as a very disappointed customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clear clips with white tape??? I have just purchased some clear clips expecting the the 'gum/sticky part' to be clear too but no it is a white. When purchasing you cannot tell this due to the backing. What is the point of buying clear hooks to be invisible if the they end up looking white anyway - confused !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for Xmas lights cords and extension cord I use these outdoor light clips for hanging our Xmas light decorations and for outdoor extension cords. I believe them to have excellent holding strength. Once I have install them they stay on until I take down decorations after the Xmas holiday season is over. Use to have to use staples and/or nails. These damaged the wood siding. Best product for this use we have found. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wanted to avoid holes on our lanai I love these. I sometimes ‘MacGyver’ things and although I bought these for lights I did not yet have I found another use for them. We are in sunny and often very humid West Coast of Florida. I love how perfectly this worked.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not keep patio lights up I bought these this weekend. We live in a humid and hot area so that may be the cause but we strung patio lights up and even doubled up where we put light holder but they still fell down and even caused one strand to break.

    Command™ Weight Reference Guide

Not sure which Command™ Product is right for you? We weighed some common household objects to give you a better understanding of the amount of weight you’re hanging on your walls. Explore our Command™ Weight Reference Guide to find the best Command™ Product for your project.

    • 1 lb. Hold

Even the lightest items need the right support. Next time you brew a pot of joe in the morning, remember that a 16 oz bag of coffee beans is the equivalent to one pound.

    • 3 lb. Hold

Comparing apples to oranges might not be a fair matchup, but comparing a bag of apples to your next project—that’s a different story. Did you know that a standard bag of apples is equal to three pounds? How do you like them apples?

    • 5 lb. Hold

You want a damage-free hanging solution that’s up for the task—not one that will drop your object like a hot potato. For items with a bit more weight, remember that five pounds feels just like a standard bag of potatoes. Unsure whether you have a standard size bag? Just check the front of the bag for the 5 lb weight.

    • 8 lb. Hold

Looking for a solution to hang your heavier objects? No there’s no use crying over spilt milk. Just reach for the gallon of milk in your fridge—it weighs about eight pounds.
