Command™ Narrow Picture Hanging Strips is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after just 3 weeks Used these to hang a picture that weighs less than 3 pounds. Followed directions carefully, even let the strips 'cure' overnight before final attachment. After about 3 weeks, I found the picture on the floor. The strip pulled off of the wooden picture frame. Fortunately no damage to the picture since it fell onto carpet, but wouldn't trust them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strong velcro, weak adhesive The adhesive on these strips didn't stick. So when I followed step 5 of the mounting instructions (remove the frame from the wall to press on the back adhesive strip, I was left with a bare frame and a complete mounting strip stuck to the wall. Save your money and use a traditional mounting method.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from didn’t work I used these to hang posters on my wall. when i tried to take the posters off, it removed the paint from where i put the strips. one of the posters kept falling off the wall because the strips didn’t stick. overall, it was very inconsistent, and now i have patches on my wall where the paint has been torn off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be great Used them to keep the bottoms of my wood blinds from banging every time you open the door. They were perfect in size, but I just can’t keep them to stay & I don’t open the doors very often.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never fail...when applied correctly Reviewing for my sweepstakes entry, but these things have never failed me since I've figured out the correct way to apply them. You really do need to wait the extra time and let them set before actually hanging the item. Since I often use two sets (either one on each side or one at the top and one at the bottom) to obtain the correct spacing, I start by connecting both sides loosely, peel the sticky side and apply firmly to the back of the picture frame, then peel the other sticky side and press against the wall. Gently separate them so as not to pull any of the glued sides off then again press each one firmly for good measure then let them sit and "cure". I usually let them sit over night if possible. Since I've started waiting the extra time instead of just sticking them and hanging them I haven't had a picture fall off the wall yet. And they'll still remove easily. Just an all around great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great, until they fail!!! Been using these for a few years now but just had a mirrored frame fall down in the night. It is one of 3 frames hanging in a row which means I have had to replace it. Fortunately still available but unfortunately from Laura Ashley and cost £53 (in the sale) These are very convenient but perhaps not worth the risk on more valuable items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for changing seasons! I use these for my seasonal wall hangings. It's so easy to pull off the Halloween picture and press on the Christmas picture when it's time. I also put up my kitchen clock with these - super fast and easy to pull off the clock to adjust for daylight savings and then press it back on the wall. I highly recommend these strips for hanging pictures without damaging walls.

    Command™ Weight Reference Guide

Not sure which Command™ Product is right for you? We weighed some common household objects to give you a better understanding of the amount of weight you’re hanging on your walls. Explore our Command™ Weight Reference Guide to find the best Command™ Product for your project.

    • Even the lightest items need the right support. Next time you brew a pot of joe in the morning, remember that a 16 oz bag of coffee beans is the equivalent to one pound.

    • Comparing apples to oranges might not be a fair matchup, but comparing a bag of apples to your next project—that’s a different story. Did you know that a standard bag of apples is equal to three pounds? How do you like them apples?

    • You want a damage-free hanging solution that’s up for the task—not one that will drop your object like a hot potato. For items with a bit more weight, remember that five pounds feels just like a standard bag of potatoes. Unsure whether you have a standard size bag? Just check the front of the bag for the 5 lb weight.

    • Looking for a solution to hang your heavier objects? No there’s no use crying over spilt milk. Just reach for the gallon of milk in your fridge—it weighs about eight pounds.
