Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't hang your precious items!!! Have tried these twice to hang a set of 4 pictures in lightweight frames. First time 4 stuck..... Great.... Until a month later when one fell off the wall, smashed and dented the oak floor!!!! Replaced the frame and rehung the item..,.. a few weeks later another did the same, this time knocking another frame off as it fell to the floor. Two frames to buy now and floor is not in good shape. Has cost me a fortune!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nails don't fail I purchased several command strips for hanging large pictures. I just had my walls painted and I didn't want to use nails. So I tried command strips. Big mistake, big waste of money (they are quite pricey). Anyway long story short. Followed directions, cleaned area, etc...but everything fell off the wall within 20 minutes. Back to nails - they don't fail!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic weight holding capacity I have large picture frames that are heavy and I love these for keeping them on the wall just where I have put them. I had no idea there were so many more products for canvas and more that I definitely want to check out from Command.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be great... Having lived exclusively in rentals for the past several years, I have loved used Command strips and hooks since they are easily removable when moving out. However, in the past year or so, both the picture hanging strips and hook styles I've purchased have failed. Lightweight frames and lightly utilized hooks have both fallen off walls not long after application. The adhesive is much weaker than it used to be - so much so that you could run your finger over it without much tackiness at all. It seems that many other users are having the same issue. Unless the quality improves, I won't be purchasing any more Command products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from what a disappointment I purchased a large set at Costco (enough to hang 15 pictures), hung my stuff following the directions and left for lunch. When I returned multiple items had fallen to the floor and broken. I'll stick with nails in the future!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Held for a little bit then fell I hung something that was 7 pounds, it held for a little bit then fell which sucks because the item would’ve broken. Doesn’t work on heavy things

    Command™ Weight Reference Guide

Not sure which Command™ Product is right for you? We weighed some common household objects to give you a better understanding of the amount of weight you’re hanging on your walls. Explore our Command™ Weight Reference Guide to find the best Command™ Product for your project.

    • 1 lb. Hold

Even the lightest items need the right support. Next time you brew a pot of joe in the morning, remember that a 16 oz bag of coffee beans is the equivalent to one pound.

    • 3 lb. Hold

Comparing apples to oranges might not be a fair matchup, but comparing a bag of apples to your next project—that’s a different story. Did you know that a standard bag of apples is equal to three pounds? How do you like them apples?

    • 5 lb. Hold

You want a damage-free hanging solution that’s up for the task—not one that will drop your object like a hot potato. For items with a bit more weight, remember that five pounds feels just like a standard bag of potatoes. Unsure whether you have a standard size bag? Just check the front of the bag for the 5 lb weight.

    • 8 lb. Hold

Looking for a solution to hang your heavier objects? No there’s no use crying over spilt milk. Just reach for the gallon of milk in your fridge—it weighs about eight pounds.
